Software Companion ToolSmith

ByStorm Software was launched in 2003 with the release of Software Companion Toolsmith, a product designed to reduce the customer communications bottlenecks often encountered in Technical Support departments of software companies.

FileSure

FileSure, launched in 2006, leverages ByStorm’s patent-pending Venn Technology to make ground breaking yet simple file security tools unlike any others on the market.

OnlyRead

Introduced in 2007, the goal for OnlyRead was to provide a solution for securely managing confidential documents.

StopCopy

First available in 2008, StopCopy was designed to be a elegant solution to combat Employee Intellectual Property theft by denying file operations without restricting access to those files. StopCopy will address most of companies IP protections needs and is a nice subset of more powerful FileSure Defend.

Radar

Radar was launched in 2008 with a goal of introducing Windows administrators to ByStorm.

Founder

Gene Allen is a 25-year veteran of the software industry and served as Sr. Engineering Director at major companies before starting ByStorm Software.
