FileSure for Workstations

Extend the power of FileSure to workstation and laptops

The problem:

Windows Servers can’t determine how files are being used; they can only determine if the user has sufficent rights to access the file.

For example, if you copy a file or just read it with Notepad, it will look the same to the server...a File Open and a File Read. Server based FileSure is subject to the same limitation.

As soon as access is granted, how the file is being used is unknown.

The solution:

By moving FileSure to the workstation, we can:

record or stop files from being copied to USB drives
record or stop files from being e-mailed via Outlook or Webmail
allow access to confidential files but prevent them from being stolen
record access to non Windows based servers and NAS appliances
and more...
